An acquaintance had taught Jim Eisele about the ins and outs of winemaking. After learning even more on his own, Jim began to experiment with different flavors, and went on to produce 180 gallons of wine from his personal winery. Jim started selling his wines in 2007 at the urging of his friends. His small, personal winery soon became the destination it is today.
The Whispering Winds reputation grew, as did Jim’s output. These days, he produces 2,000 gallons a year, offering the wine enthusiast community a variety of grape and fruit wines. Jim is especially well-known for Drupleberry, a mixed berry wine, and Rhuberry, a Strawberry and Rhubarb wine.
